Pre-Wedding Prep
Before your wedding day, we professionally steam your gown so that it is “aisle” ready. We recommend that you phone ahead and make an appointment. Some brides need their gown custom packed for their destination wedding. 0thers are travelling by vehicle within the province, and still others are having their ceremony at a local venue. Near or far, each scenario requires a different method of packaging.
Post-wedding cleaning and storage
Many brides are unsure of “ what to do” with their wedding dress. The best way to preserve your wedding gown is to first have it cleaned, then boxed after cleaning.
Boxing or “ Heirlooming” prevents the gown from yellowing and allows it to breathe while keeping out impurities. As experts in all types of fabrics and trim, we tighten loose beading, repair open seams and broken bustles.
Our boxes come in two sizes that fit any dress, freom a simpple elegant sheath or to the most complex and elaborate ball gown.
